Volver II: Music with Gustavo Angeles
We are excited for our annual fundraiser Volver this Sunday: Celebrating Earth Day! We will have delicious healthy foods cooked up by sculptor/chef Zarco Guerrero and a gratitude walk led by Curandera Patricia Federico-Ruiz. In addition, we will feature the soul soothing music of local musician Gustavo Angeles.
As a Latin Alternative World Music artist , he is inspired by his struggles, his son and nature. He is often praised for his exceptional guitar skills and vocals. Critics have shared his writing expresses love and social/political issues that make an impact on his audiences.
As someone who is grateful for all of Earth’s elements, he hopes to enhance Zarco’s food creations through his music. Music is healing and it will relax you, entertain you and make you feel good. His goal is to help people forget their problems and leave the event with a positive attitude towards life.
Gustavo is looking forward to entertaining guests, seeing old friends and making new ones. He is grateful for the food Mother Earth provides and its healing properties.
The Serenity at South Mountain is a relaxing and beautiful property in the heart of Phoenix. The house dates back to the early twenties and it is completely furnished with enchanting period pieces.
