Springtime in the Classroom
Our After School Arts Program at El Rancho del Arte in Mesa was gifted a grow box from Local First Arizona back in March.
The students in the program have been very excited and having so much fun gardening and learning how to grow their own food!
Our partners at El Rancho del Arte, Local First Arizona, received a grant to purchase this indoor gardening tool to help our students learn about sustainability and healthy eating.
They have already planted their first seeds – tomatoes, peppers, leafy greens, and more!
Next up, they’ll be working with a local artist to paint a mural on the grow box. Stay tuned for more updates!
