Mariachi STEAM Program Receives Funding

Cultural Coalition is excited to share that we have been select as part of the 2023 Cohort for the Equity in STEAM Initiative 2.0 from YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix and Intel!

Working with youth mariachis and volunteers from the Intel Latinx Group Chapter and ASU’s student chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Cultural Coalition will launch a pilot version of a Mariachi STEAM camp at the Rancho del Arte school during the summer of 2023.

This program hopes to bring BIPOC artists and engineers into our classroom to inspire youth to pursue careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics! Stay tuned for more information as we work to develop and launch this amazing new initiative!
