First Friday Gallery Opening
Cultural Coalition is excited to announce the Official Opening of our new Mask Alive Art Collection Gallery!
Join us on Friday, February 7th from 5 to 8 PM at the Arizona Center in downtown Phoenix for an exciting event that showcases the incredible artistry of Zarco Guerrero, a renowned artist, storyteller, and master sculptor.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Over 200 captivating works of art: Explore a diverse collection of large-scale sculptures, puppets, masks, and more, crafted from bronze, wood, clay, and mixed media found objects.
- Interact with Zarco Guerrero’s apprentices: Learn about mask-making techniques through demonstrations, and enjoy captivating performances.
- Free Kids’ Activities: Children of all ages are welcome to participate in fun mask-making crafts.
- Art for Purchase: Discover unique and one-of-a-kind artworks available for purchase.
Beginning in February, the Mask Alive Art Collection Gallery will be open to the public:
- Mondays & Wednesdays: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- First & Third Fridays of the Month: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- And By Appointment
Throughout the year, we’ll also be hosting exciting artist workshops and free community events at the gallery.
