Cultural Coalition's Annual Mask Alive! Festival of Masks brings a crowd pleasing line-up of performances to Pioneer Park in Mesa every March. A community favorite, known for its diverse performances with colorful characters and joyous atmosphere, celebrate the masked traditions of cultures from around the world. Families of all ages enjoy an afternoon in the park at this free festival that celebrates the global artistic tradition of storytelling through masks.
Featuring live performances of dance and music representing cultures from around the world including Mexico, Japan, West Africa, Egypt, and more! One of the most culturally diverse events open to the public for free, Mask Alive! is always a great time that is fun for the whole family - Serving an average audience of 3000 people annually!
Attendees also have the chance to enjoy tasty treats from food trucks, purchase art directly from local artisans, and participate in free kids craft activities.

VENDOR APPLICATIONS
Applications open January 20, 2026 and must be received by noon on Friday March 6, 2026 to be considered for this festival. All vendor fees include a $50 conditional refundable deposit. Vendors will be notified within one week of application close date if they have been accepted. Alternate forms of application available upon request.
New This Year - Due to City of Mesa special event requirements, only food vendors on the City's approved vendor list will be invited to apply. Contact festivals@culturalcoalition.com if you have any questions.
VOLUNTEER AT THE FESTIVAL
Be a part of the action as an awesome volunteer at the Mask Alive Festival! Help with setup, cleanup, surveys, booth sitting, art activities, and more. We have opportunities for individuals, students needing community service hours, and corporate groups.
