Celebrating 20 years!
One summer day in 1996, a few passionate individuals got together to discuss what was then just a nugget of an idea. Seeking to find a way to support artists, and promote indigenous arts and cultural events in the community, these individuals pooled their talents and founded what is now, Cultural Coalition.
20 years later, this mission has not faltered, and it remains as the driving force of what makes Cultural Coalition a fixture in the community. Over the years we have seen people and arts brought together through annual Dia De Los Muertos Festivals and countless community and school performances, workshops and celebrations.
Over the next couple of months we will be highlighting some of the best moments in our shared history, and the important people that make this organization a reality: the donors, the artists, the board members, the volunteers, and many, many more.
We are so excited to celebrate this anniversary year with everyone, and look forward to serving the community for years to come!
