Carmen Guerrero Announced as a 2023 Piper Fellow
Congratulations to Carmen Guerrero, Cultural Coalition Executive Director & Co-Founder, for being one of the nine inspiring Maricopa County nonprofit leaders that were selected for Piper Trust’s 2023 Class of Piper Fellow!
Carmen shared, “My ancestral practices keep me focused and healthy to lead from my heart, and our organization believes that culture heals! We share the arts and its full power in all its forms to inspire, motivate, and educate. My Fellowship will allow me to increase the capacity of my organization and to research the viability of the Mask Museum and Cultural Center in order to better serve our community for generations to come. I am extremely honored and grateful to be a Piper Fellow. ”
The newly selected class becomes part of the larger and enduring Piper Fellows network that is now a community of 111 Fellows. The 2023 Piper Fellows will participate in self-designed professional development “sabbaticals” focused on strengthening leadership skills and exploring renowned programs that can help nonprofits become more effective and resilient.
