The Spring Equinox marks the first day of spring in the northern Hemisphere. It is the moment when the Sun crosses the celestial equator and shines directly on the equator and the length of night and day are nearly equal. It is an astronomical event but many cultures of the world celebrate a time of cleansing, reflections, starting anew and the Healing Arts. Come celebrate with us: A day of Healing, starting with Yoga, featuring the Phoenix Fridas and other vendors. With interesting presentations and sharing of experiences to express the influence of their art form used for healing.

Come enjoy kids arts activities, dance, music and theater! The first 500 get free tickets to Childsplay's production of "Junie B. Jones Is Not a Crook". Afterwards, drummers and puppeteers will lead a masked procession of festival goers on the pedestrian bridge crossing Tempe Town Lake. Lots of Fun for the whole family!
