Artistic Director, Diane McNeal Hunt’s eclectic palette of choreography showcases her dancers who deftly express the concept and intent behind her work by finding an authentic and honest way of integrating movement in their bodies, resulting in an articulate, dynamic and captivating performance. ELEVATE DanceWorks is dedicated to upholding the top level of artistry in their work and embraces every opportunity for continued artistic growth. Dedication to rigorous training, ELEVATE performs with finesse and technical strength. Choreographic inspiration for Diane comes through creating with her powerful core of dancers who share a common passion and and vision. Also, for over 30 years, Diane has enjoyed a vital collaboration with internationally acclaimed mask maker, Zarco Guerrero. ELEVATE’s repertoire includes mesmerizing choreography by Diane that features original masks by Zarco. Showcasing works nationally presents an opportunity for ELEVATE’s choreographer and dancers to: keep informed as our art form evolves; experience the creativity of other dance companies; and network with artistic forces from around our nation. ELEVATE Company Dancers provide a cadre of trained Teaching Artists and we offer a full range of classes for ages, children to Adult and Professionals.
