Cesar Says

No Latino is more respected as a civil-rights advocate than the late Cesar Chavez, who grew up in Yuma, Arizona.

In “Cesar Says,” multi-talented playwright, actor, and mask-maker Zarco Guerrero portrays the life and times of this iconic historical figure through his unique masked characters and their reverent yet humorous style of story-telling.

Dia De La Raza

diadelarazaLa Mascarada – A Dia de Los Muertos Festival  a celebration of the Latino community in the Phoenix area which is a culturally relevant, family friendly program that addresses our diverse cultural experiences and traditions, while connecting communities through educational and interactive activities.   We are working this year in conjunction with Chicanos Por La Causa yearly festivals:   “Dia De La Raza/Creating A Future & Honoring Our Past”

Cultural Coalition’s La Mascarada is a community festival that  expresses the pageantry of the Mexican/Chicano festival tradition  especially as it pertains to the Dia de los Muertos Celebrations.
